Why does the Indian Special Forces prefer Israeli weapons like the Tavor Tar-21 over the American M4?

Tavor has become the staple firearm of Indian Special Forces units with Full Length Barrel variants in service with Primary Special Operations Units while shorter barrel variants are in service with various SWAT and Commando units in India. Tavor has been increasingly favored over other weapon systems and specially the M4 Carbines which has been the staple weapon for various Special Operations Forces and Counter-Terrorism Organisations. The reason why Indian Special Forces prefer Israeli Tavor Family of Rifles over the American M4 Carbines are many , some of which I will discuss below : > Bull-Pup Configuration :  Tavor Family of Rifles took the Bullpup configuration to a newer level eliminating those problems which earlier plagued the Bullpup firearms. Bullpup Configuration means that the receiver , magazine and Bolt Carrier is placed behind the Pistol Grip thus helping the weapon to reduce its overall length while retaining the actual barrel length. This configuration is a...

How India,China Destroyed MiG over Sukhoi

Russia's MiG aircraft company , o nce one of the world's most famous aircraft designers  has fallen on hard times. Though it's aircraft continue to populate almost 30 country's Air Force's, the firm has not won a major design competition or aircraft tender in its post-Soviet history. The company is named after Soviet airplane designers Artyom Mikoyan and Mikhail Gurevich, who designed their first airplane, the MiG-1, in 1939. MiG aircraft were Cold War icons, becoming almost synonymous with the Russian air force in the West. Their reputation was rivaled only by that of Kalashnikov rifles, according to Ruslan Pukhov, director of the Moscow-based Center for the Analysis of Strategies and Technologies (CAST).  In general MiG’s have been light fighters while Su’s have been heavier interceptors and fighter-bombers. The main difference in my opinion are different missions, ...

Perfect Reply to "Why can't India give Kashmir to Pakistan?"

Why Jammu & Ka shmir Belong to India... Once in the United Nations meeting, the question was raised about  "Why Kashmir belong to India". Both the Indian and the Pakistani representatives were there to present their views on the matter. The Indian rep got the first turn to speak. And he said, “This is a very good question that can be answered via a joke.”. Then he proceeded further saying, “During the Vedic periods many millennia ago, once it happened that the great sage Kashyap was wandering in the barren lands of Kashmir. He was thirsty but could not find any water to drink. So, he decided to use his yogic powers to cut the hills of Baramulla and created a lake. After quenching his thirst, he wanted to take a bath in the lake. So he bared himself of his clothes and jumped to the water. In the meanwhile the Pakistanis were lurking for a chance and they stole the sage’s clothes and ran away… ”… To this, the Pakistani rep strongly objected, saying, “How c...
